                     BASKETBALL

Hi this is Arfa! this is my second blog.  I hope you are having a good day while reading my blog, my topic for my new blog is basketball.

    The invertor of basketball is James Naismith was a Canadian-American physical educator, physician, Christian chaplain, and sports coach, best known as the inventor of the game of basketball. After moving to the United States, he wrote the original basketball rule book and founded the University of Kansas basketball program.

    After Naismith rejected the name “Naismith ball”, saying that the name would kill the game before it got going, Mahan then said, “Why not call it basket ball?” Dr. Naismith responded to this saying, “We have a basket and a ball, and it seems to me that would be a good name for it.” In Dr.

    NBA is the highest level of basketball in the world.  Probably the most notable history of basketball timeline is when the sports was introduced to the Olympics. This event took place in 1936 when the Olympics were held in Berlin.
We all know that basketball is one of the famous sport around the world, Every country has its own national team for competition.  Now a days if you ask any people about basketball they all have answers and idea.

1st Lets talk about BASKETBALL SHOES

    There are so many types of basketball shoes to choose from.  Famous players like Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Giannis Antetokuompo and the likes have their own signature shoes.  Its a bit expensive but you will never regret it.  I like the most is the Michael Jordan shoes because it fits well in my feet, i tried the old Lebron shoes but it's heavy and its bulky, but the Lebron XX is a game changer.  Some people are so addicted in collecting expensive basketball shoes specially the limited edition shoes. Having a good and nice shoes will let you play well.

2nd Lets talk about BASKETBALL PLAYER

    A basketball player is the one who plays the basketball game.  My favorite basketball player is his Airness MICHAEL JORDAN.  No doubt! for me he is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) the way he play its different.  He has the big influence of basketball nowadays.  I remember watching him play before even though they are behind 25 points in the 4th quarter

they still manage to win that game.

• His salary during his career totaled $90 million, but he has earned $1.8 billion (pre-tax) from such corporate partners as Nike, Hanes and Gatorade.
• MJ joined sports-betting firm DraftKings as a special advisor to the board and an investor in September 2020.
• He also became a NASCAR team co-owner in late 2020.
• Jordan, who owns the Charlotte Hornets, agreed to sell a minority stake in a 2019 deal that valued the NBA team at $1.5 billion.

3rd Lets talk about NBA BASKETBALL

    The National Basketball Association is a professional basketball league in North America composed of 30 teams. It is one of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada and is considered the premier professional basketball league in the world.  The Current NBA Champions are the Denver Nuggets.  The league has 30 teams and its founded in June 6, 1946.  The Current commissioner of the NBA is Adam Silver.

   

 NBA Season and Playoffs

Each team in the NBA plays 82 regular season games. They play 41 games at home and 41 away. Every team in the NBA plays every other team at least once during the season.  The top eight teams in each conference go to the playoffs. Teams are seeded according to their records and whether they won their division. The best team plays the worst team (1 vs. 8) and so on. The teams play a best of seven series where the first team with four wins takes the series and moves on in the playoffs. The team with the best record gets the home court advantage where they play one more game at home.
